Founded in 2016 by Charis Dankert, Seascape Sport Horses is an elite hunter/jumper training program for all levels primarily serving the Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Jose and the Bay Area, Seascape began by importing high end European sport horses to compete in hunters, jumpers and equitation and now offers a full service training and showing program. Come ride with us!

about charis dankert

Charis holds a BS in english riding and training and a Bachelors in business from the University of Findley in Ohio. Charis is also a registered veterinary technician with 10 years experience working in an ICU.

Achievements include placings in national HOTY awards with USHJA, USEF Zone 10 championships in hunters and jumpers and numerous Norcal year end awards,

Seascape is based at Woodmyst Farms in Gilroy. Woodmyst has a dedicated 250 x 150 outdoor arena with new Premier Equestrian footing and show quality jumps from JB Horse Standards. The facility also has a covered arena and covered round pen which lets us be able to

ride rain or shine.

Scooby is an imported 13 year old 16.1 Oldenburg gelding. He has “A” circuit experience with a junior rider and has brought her up to the 3ft. Scooby has a lovely trot and jump. Easy keeper. Sadly outgrown and ready for his next rider. Scooby would be most comfortable jumping 2’6-2’9. He could excel in all three rings. Lease considered. Located in Gilroy.

Trudeau aka Spirit is a super safe and experienced equitation / hunter. Spirit was overall Norcal Green Hunter champion his 3ft year and overall Norcal Green Hunter reserve champion his 3'3 year. Has tons of show experience with both juniors an amateurs and has competed in Norcal, Horse and Hound, Almaden, Cloverleaf, and CPHA medal finals. Perfect horse for people learning how to jump or nervous riders as he is extremely tolerant of mistakes and kind. Will take a rider from the short stirrup to the 3'3. Super cute 3 ring gelding. Orion was imported from Mexico this past year. He has been showing in the hunters and has loved it. He is very brave and has a big step to get down the lines. Needs very little prep and is a easy keeper. Would be great for a junior that is stepping up from the pony ring. Get this talented guy before his price goes up with more show experience. Asking 25k

Manolo is a talented coming 7 year old warmblood gelding that has been showing on the A and B circuit in the jumpers and hunters for the past year. He is super brave and will jump from any distance. No stop. He has shown up to the .95 jumpers and 2’9 hunters and is ready to move up divisions this show season. He could even make a great 3 day horse. Pop Style aka Bowie is a a lovely junior hunter, derby and equitation horse. Bowie was Champion Norcal overall Young Hunter for both his 5 and 6 year old show years. He was 5th overall HOTY young hunter for USEF his 5 year old year. He has tons of show experience with juniors and amateurs and is very tolerant of mistakes and beginners. He has competed in numerous National hunter derbies placing in the top 12. Frequently pins in the top three in the under saddle. Requires very little prep and is very easy to have in any program.
